The private landowner

A fellow blogger who goes by the name of biodiversivist owns a piece of forest for the purpose of preserving nature. He or she has contributed a most beautiful and moving post to Gristmill. The text and the pictures show how much this landowner cares for his land and the wild creatures that live in it. These are bad times for private property in the U.S., as the Supreme Court there has ruled that governments can take land owned by one person and give it another for private development. I hope the government never steals your land from you, biodiversivist.

  2. Children are a joy. I have a theory that having a child causes genes to switch on that alter what brings you pleasure. Diego's picture brings me great pleasure.
